Style and Substance

datzmedia is a multimedia shop crafting and bringing to life messages in virtually all forms. It is a marketing communications consultancy established in 2002 by Bob Datz, building on years of expertise in both managing and producing journalism in print and broadcast media. By extending formal training into Web and graphics through Clark University, he has become expert in producing messages in virtually all media, and helping clients know when to use which ones.

Bob has also been active in campaigns and fundraising events for non-profit programs ranging from public benefits to tightly focused campaigns.

datzmedia is a platform that also utilizes many communications tools on its own to the benefit of business and nonprofit clients. We also engage team members on a project basis. We serve various clients on an ongoing basis and with single projects.

Our Values

datzmedia takes satisfaction in working with individuals and businesses who serve a community of customers, clients, or supporters with passion and honesty, as we do.

We maintain and advocate for high ethical standards, honesty in messaging and open, frequent communication with our clients.

We do recognize there is a big picture. We are not an “anything for a buck” agency, because that can be a lucrative but distasteful way to live.

We hope that our clients, despite the challenges of running an enterprise, enjoy their work overall as much as we do.

What about Bob?

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Bob has spent most of his life in New England and raised a son and daughter here.

True to roots, Cleveland sports teams are still No. 1. Bob is a graduate of Kentbob_headshot State University and its Honors College.

More significant is his involvement through the years on “Golden Rule” issues from human rights to economic justice.

Professionally, Bob is a member and serves on the boards of The Communcators Club of Worcester, Mass., and The Chamber of Central Mass. South. He belongs to Community Business Associates in Sturbridge, Mass., and as a journalist, is a member of The News Guild. He has been involved with local access cable TV since 2004 and is a 20-year FIFA-certified soccer referee.

Bob enjoys experiencing the outdoors on land and water, cooking and music and is a neophyte drummer.
